Xploreum Thrillmaster Code of Conduct

At Xploreum, we believe that adventure has the power to transform lives — but only when it's guided by respect, safety, and integrity. As a Thrillmaster, you're not just leading Xpeditions — you're helping shape a global movement.
The following Code of Conduct outlines the expectations we have for all Thrillmasters using the Xploreum platform. By listing your experiences with us, you agree to uphold the values below.
1. Safety First, Always
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including permits, insurance, and licensing.
- Perform regular safety checks on all vehicles, equipment, and gear.
- Disclose all material risks of the Xpedition in your listing.
- Carry proper certifications for your activity (e.g., wilderness first aid, dive master, etc.).
- Have a clear emergency plan and communicate it to participants.
- Be present and situationally aware; do not lead under the influence.
2. Respect for All People
- Treat Xplorers with kindness, patience, and professionalism — regardless of background, identity, or experience level.
- Foster an inclusive and harassment-free environment.
- Refrain from offensive language, discrimination, or aggressive behavior.
- Honor your commitments — don't ghost, don't cancel without cause, and communicate early if plans change.
3. Stewardship of Nature and Place
- Leave no trace. Minimize environmental impact on trails, campsites, waterways, and cultural heritage sites.
- Educate Xplorers on local conservation practices and customs.
- Respect local communities, landowners, and wildlife.
4. Integrity in Business Practices
- Provide honest, accurate, and complete information in all expedition listings.
- Clearly disclose all pricing, included services, and required gear.
- Never solicit off-platform payments that violate Xploreum's terms.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, reviews, and disputes in good faith.
- Follow Xploreum's cancellation and refund policies. In case of emergencies or unforeseen changes, communicate promptly and clearly.
5. Communication & Feedback
- Keep all communication clear, timely, and respectful.
- Respond to booking inquiries within 48 hours.
- Welcome feedback and strive to improve based on reviews and support tickets.
- Notify us if any safety incident, legal issue, or misconduct occurs on your expedition.
6. Zero Tolerance for Misconduct
We reserve the right to pause or permanently remove any Thrillmaster account if we receive credible reports of:
- Fraud or misrepresentation
- Harassment, abuse, or discrimination
- Unsafe practices or repeated safety violations
- Criminal conduct during or related to an Xpedition
- Breach of platform rules or this Code of Conduct
